• Hello All,

I have a nightly job that does a ‘mysqldump’ of the WordPress database and offloads it to cloud storage for backup purposes.

The WordPress site is RARELY updated, however, I have noticed each nightly backup that occurs is about ~50MB greater than the last backup. What has originally started as 306MB two months ago is now 2.5 GB – which IMO is HUGE for a MySQL WordPress database.

Anybody know what might be going on and what I can do to get these backups back to the correct size? Is there some table that just fills up and doesn’t get pruned? Log? No clue!

    Thanks all!

    Michael
