I have an interesting problem with WordPress Multisite.

When i am in the Site Super Administrator Dashboard, any attempt to delete or add or update plugins results in the following error

Update Failed: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> 403 Forbidden Forbidden You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on this server.

However, if i then go to one of the sites, where i have file manager plugin activated, i can add/edit and delete files to my hearts content.

Finally, although the Network Super Administrator dashboard cannot update themes or plugins etc, it can create new sites!

The Super Administrator cannot upgrade users to super admin…Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/network/user-edit.php on this server.

But the Super Admin can create new users

hmmm, this appears to be wordfence causing the problem.

If i update plugins through wordfence the updates work.

I dont know which setting in wordfence does it?
