WordPress multisite lost a website entry in the ‘blogs’ section of the database

  • WordPress multisite lost a website entry in the wp_blogs database table. The site url was blanked out. The date was set back to all zeroes. The blog ID was blank.

    This has happened several times now. Nobody was in there yesterday when I believe it happened.

    There are scheduled tasks via cron where the site imports content snippets from an advertiser and some snippets from other blogs.

    There must be code running somewhere that is inappropriately updating the DB. It would be very helpful if you can find a way to reliably induce the error, or identify exactly which code is run when the error occurs. For instance, what scheduled task runs immediately before the blogs entry gets blanked?
