    hi guys,
i seem to be having some problems with domain mapping on a wordpress network.

I have a google cloud bitnami WordPress MU instance

I have setup a wordpress network using the default bitnami settings.

For some reason, when i add a new site, i am able to view the site directly, however, i cannot access the wp-admin for this new site using a desktop pc…i just keep getting a Cpanel 404 not found error.

    What has me completely stumped,

    1. i am able to access wp-admin for this subdomain from my mobile phone using its own mobile data and not my home ISP, however with the caveat…it was initially, incredibly slow…painfully slow! None of my other new network sites have been like this before.

    2. I can also access it from my Samsung Galaxy tablet, with either wiffii using my home ISP or, via its own cellular data network.

    3. From my mobile devices, I have successfully activated a new theme, and added plugins to the new website. However, i am unable to set a default home page with any device…it just keeps throwing Error 404 Page on my theme template.

    4. I created a new page and called it testpage…i can navigate to this page manually in browser no problem…but i cannot set it as a default home page…just produces a 404 error.

I am completely stumped as to how i should go about problem solving this one?

Why is my wordpress network refusing to allow me to set a default home page for the new subdomain sites?

and why am i getting cpanel cgi/sys/defaultwebpage 404 errors on my desktop pc (i dont even have cpanel on my google cloud server)?

I have performed http and dns lookups on the domain name and it is correctly pointing at my google cloud compute web server ip adress.

The http lookup is also showing the correct page thumbnail as well
