• Hi there,

Does this plugin work with wordpress multisite where each subsite admin can enter their Sparkpost API key and use the plugin just for their subsite?

Thank you for your time ??

I’m sorry to say but no, the plugin doesn’t have that feature. If we see a many users similar use case we can surely consider it. I’ve created an issue to weigh that. https://github.com/SparkPost/wordpress-sparkpost/issues/99

But, though I haven’t tested it personally, I believe it’ll work with single configuration.

    Definitely need multisite support too.
Is it possible to network activate the plugin and set the same Sparkpost API key for the whole multisite installation?
Or at leat just set the same Sparkpost API key for the whole multisite installation (so when a user activate the Sparkpost plugin on his subsite the API is already set)?

    Thanks a lot!

    PS: I guess that will interest you @jaybirdjames that’s why I didn’t open a new thread… ??

Please feel free to upvote (+1) the github issues if you feel like it’s useful. It’ll be easier for us to decide what to build next :).

I think the only way now is to test it. I suggest you try it in an multisite env. I’ll also do a test soon.

    Thanks

    Voted ??

I guess the priority would be the possibily to set an API for the multisite installation using wp-config

    Thanks!

    can you elaborate this please?

    Sure ??

Setting up a constant like SPARKPOST_APIKEY in wp-config
As a result the API will be set for the whole network (main site and all subsites).

Then users can activate / deactivate the SparkPost plugin on a per-site basis. When they activate it, the API is already set up, so they have nothing to do.

Tell me if I’m clear (I’m French so my english is not perfect ?? )

Thanks for clarifying. It makes sense. I think i’ll first test it and see how it works with multisite now. API Key is not the only thing required.

Your English is just fine :).

Thanks & thanks, I’m sure that will be great ??

    Hi there,

    +1 for multisite ??

I checked the Github thread, and it appears it now works with multisite?

Or am I not correct there?

    Thanks much!

It might work with multisite now but with single configuration. We are hoping to implement pure multisite in near future.

    Thanks
