• Hello Everyone,

I am having a website in wordpress multi-user with multiple languages. The languages are “Arabic” , “French” , “Engilsh”.

The users would be able to post in all three languages from wordpress backend. If it is possible the backend would also have a language switcher.

I had look at WPML, qTranslate, and Xili language. Please suggest me the appropriate plugin suitable for my requirements.

    Regards,
    Sam.

    Hi Andrea,

There comes my love…I was awaiting for your response only dear. I have added 2 languages .mo files to “wp-content>languages”.

It gave me option to translate the backend not front end and the posts containing the front end.

    Regards,
    Sam.

For the front end, the theme has to be localized and come with a .po file.

For the content, I have only tried WPML.

    Hi Andrea,

i am having all translations for my frontend. Also Please tell me how to use qtranslate or WPML in case of multisite. As i am not able to get it activated network wide. It gets activated only in admin site not at the users site.

There are global languages in the site that has to be there in all users back end. I have achived it for back end localization. And front end localization is really giving me troubles.

    Regards,
    Sam.

    Hi Andrea,

Can you please tell me as this is my core requirement for my website. I have achieved the backend translation completely.

Please suggest some plugin for front end. Also i have tried WPML but it isnt have support for WPMU. There are chances of qTranslate and Xiligroup plugin for having on WPMU but it is again not documented correctly.

    Regards,
    Sam.

I can only point you to the support forums for those plugins.

Anyone I’ve talked to about multiple language and accurate content translations sets up a completely separate blog for the other languages, and posts the content there.
