WordPress migration – widgets are not transferred

  • HI guys,

    my situation is the following:

    I develop the website on my localhost, setup everything, then do an DB export, replace URLs in the MySQL dump and then do an DB import. And of course copy all the WP files.

    This method works for me great except that widget are not transferred and I need to setup them manually again.

    Any ideas why that happens?
