WordPress Migration WARNING!

  • This plugin will cause an error when migrating your wordpress site to a new server. SO BE WARNED! It was a pain in the butt to figure this out and finally fix my clients wordpress site.

    What kind of error did you receive when making the transfer?

    Basically the entire dashboard results in a blank page which you then have to FTP in and change the “plugins” folder to “plugins.hold” and then login, change it back, and I found it by activating plugins one by one.

    Such problems can happen when some of the plugin files were not uploaded properly. Deleting all Jetpack plugin files and installing the plugin again should solve the issue.
