WordPress migration to parent directory – broken theme

  • Hello,
    When I copied all my wordpress files up to the root directory, and then updated the database to the new url, my home page shows up but the theme settings are not there. Only 1 image shows with some text. No menu or layout settings have been retained. Any help would be great.
