• Hi,
im having problems, i am using WordPress for quite some time but i have issue ATM that i cannot solve.
I transferred my WordPress from one server to another (same domain) and some files that were called on old server (in uploads) “ODR??AVANJA” is now called “ODR#U0139#U02ddAVANJA” , that should be “?”. In WordPress database its like this “….ODR??AVANJA”.
Initial database was utf8, and when i created on new server to import old dump, i probably forgot and it was Latin, so i just changed later to utf8 but that has no affect of course for old entries.
So now all my attachments that have symbols like ?,?,? stopped working. In url i have “…ODR?AVANJA” in link to file like it should be, but link goes to 404.
What could i do to fix this? But i don’t know how files changed names after unzipping on new server also. If i change filename like it was on old server, or like in db “??” it doesnt work still..

    Thanks for help

Is this the guide you followed to move to a new server:

Hey Tara, no i didnt use any guide. I did allot of migrations before, so i went like always in same domain name case.
    1. zip public_html
    2. dump database
    3. on new server unzip in root
    4. create new database and user, add privileges import dump
    5. adjust wp-config.php if needed.

    Try re-importing

I cant reimport, because new web was already up and has allot of new data before i figured error :S
Can i dump new database and reimport that, or that wont have effect?
