• I’ve run into the menu limit issue on my Media Temple (gs). I’ve already reviewed other [resolved] threads on this issue and have implemented those solutions w/o any success.

    More info about my issue. Hopefully, this will help with analysis of the issue:

    Hosting:
    Media Temple (gs)

    WordPress Setup:
    Wordpress 3.0.4 with Multisite enabled. The site in question is a subsite (www.mainsite.com/subsiteA)

    Menu breakdown
    54 Total Menu Items

    1. 9 Main Nav Items
    2. 15 Secondary Nav Items
    3. 30 Tertiary Nav Items

    Updates to php.ini already implemented – php.ini file located in the “etc” folder on MT (gs) accounts.

    suhosin.post.max_vars = 5000
    suhosin.request.max_vars = 5000
    max_execution_time = 300
    memory_limit = 100M

    Has anyone experienced this issue on a Media Temple (gs) account?

    So, no one’s run into this issue on Media Temple?

    I guess I’ll have to hard-code the menu – I really wanted to give my client the access to alter/edit the main menu.

    Before giving up and hard-coding, I decided to take one more look. While looking through a phpinfo() file, I noticed a couple of things in regards to suhosin on my account.

    First, I’m using PHP Version 5.2.14.

    There are only 11 mentions of “suhosin” within the printout (see below):

    This server is protected with the Suhosin Patch 0.9.7
    ...
    suhosin.log.phpscript	 0	0
    suhosin.log.phpscript.is_safe	Off	Off
    suhosin.log.phpscript.name	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.sapi	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.script	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.script.name	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.syslog	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.syslog.facility	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.syslog.priority	no value	no value
    suhosin.log.use-x-forwarded-for	Off	Off

    Does this provide any additional insight into my issues?

    I’m having the same issue with a client site on the GS. I’ve tried all the recommended changes and still no solution. This is a WP issue in my opinion. They have stated in trac tickets it will be addressed in 3.3.

    I saw that link, thanks. Nothing I’ve tried has worked. Interestingly, it’s also doing the same thing when trying to add the page in a sidebar Flexi Pages plugin.
