What theme are you using?

Disable your plugins to see if one is conflicting.

It’s a custom child theme.. using hybrid theme frame work.

For a theme like Hybrid that has its own forum, check in those forums; something sounds broken in the child theme, if the non-child theme doesn’t have the same problem.
