WordPress Max Options control panel will not save options

This is my last hope. I run a small press publishing company. https://www.gravesidetales.com. I recently installed the WP-Max theme you can view the theme https://www.themespreview.com/wp-max-wordpress-theme. I have tried several times to get support from the creator on his forum without success.

When I installed this theme it worked fine for about 3 weeks. One night when I deleted a picture and uploaded another the WP-Max options control panel freaked out. In the options control panel each tab option controls how the front page is laid out. At one point all the options had changed to all a’s. After not finding an answer as to what happened I decided to fill in all the options and after getting a successful save all the tab options default to 3’s. No matter what numbers I put in and how much I save all the options remain 3’s.

This is the only theme that has the issue. I checked with my hosting company there are no issues on their side. I even deleted the entire theme and installed an updated version and the problem still exists. My host does not have a restore option until after the problem occurred. The guy who made the theme will not answer any PM’s and locked the thread w/o a response. Doesn’t answer emails.
