wordpress makes me sign in over and over

  • Hello!

    This just recently started where I try to log in, and it works. however, when I go to the dashboard and try to do anything, it says I need to log in again.

    I check the URL in settings and made sure the web address are the same as some suggested this can cause the error I am having.

    Stumped!

  • Try deactivating all plugins by renaming your plugins folder plugins-hold. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I’ve been getting this today and yesterday. Called GoDaddy and they’re trying to improve their servers for WordPress. They’re having caching problems so if you have GoDaddy, call them and they’ll turn off their caching feature which will allow you to log back in. I’m also having issues accessing certain things with whatever they’re doing. Very annoying. Do you have GoDaddy?

    yes i do have godaddy… i hate them, glad to know its their fault

    I have GoDaddy too. I guess we just wait this out?
