WordPress links not working

Almost 3 weeks ago, I got hacked. I went through all the steps with esmi. He was most accommodating and tried his best to get me back up. Nothing seemed to work. It was decided I had a virus somewhere on my system, probably in the database.

I called AVG who I use for virus protection. I paid a bunch of money to have them scan my system. That took most of the day. The system was cleaned and I thought finally I was in business again.

I deleted everything in cpanel, including the database in mysql. Without uploading my saved backup, I installed a fresh copy of wordpress. Guess what? Still the links don’t work. I can’t make any changes to the widgets. I can’t access the settings.

I’m using Google Chrome. Could that be the problem?
