• Hello, I am not sure this is the right section of the forums I need to create my topic in, but oh well.

I am not completely sure if it is a problem, but for me, it is so I would like to know if there is a solution to the ‘problem’.

My website is in Bulgarian so I made sure to translate everything including the links.
    Example: https://example.com/това-е-на-български/това-също
This is making the links appear as gibberish when pasting them somewhere or getting them from somewhere else. For example, when I am crawling the site with Ahrefs, Ahrefs is viewing my links as nonsense and showing them to me as such.

My question is, is this a language problem and can I fix it, or this is just the way it is and there is no way anyone can do anything about it?

Thank you in advance for your time,
    Regards!

Your Cyrillic text is getting HTML escaped to ensure the link is correctly interpreted anywhere you might paste. Pasting unescaped Cyrillic or other non-Latin link text will possibly cause the link to fail. Despite appearing as gibberish, when the link is followed, browsers will display the correct Bulgarian in its address bar.

Depending on context, it might be possible to decode the gibberish and regain the Bulgarian, but then you risk the link not working correctly when pasted elsewhere. For example: https://onlinetexttools.com/html-decode-text
