WordPress Large Webiste

Hi All,

i am developing a website using wp. I’ve seen advice where wp database is efficient up to 400k posts.

The website i’m developing will be close to that or more (each post is a ad).

Would i be wise to continue using WP for this? Any advice you might give? e.g. seperate tables for post-types or multiple installs to handle content?

Images: Each post can have up to 11 images of max 200kb. But only 1 image loaded to WP as a media attachment. Any ideas for reducing server impact? etc?

I was going to start on a VPS system and update to ded. server once needed, any advice on this side in terms of set up, etc?
