WordPress keeps using relative urls

  • Every single time I create a new post any url for another part of my site ends up relative despite the fact I enter the full url in the popup link box – and I can’t figure out why. I keep finding links that won’t work in certain views and I have to re-edit – When I re-edit with the full url it stays absolute but when writing in the first instance they’re always relative.

    Am I missing a setting somewhere?
    If not could it be theme related?
    The only plugin I use that has anything to do with links is “Redirection” and I can’t see a setting there.

    I’m using the normal “add new post” page with the latest firefox

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
