• Hello dudes, i’ve a very big problem for every version of WP, since 2.8.[something] to now, 2.9.1

WordPress take possession of all my server’s RAM (1,5gb)

That installation of wordpress makes about 80 visitors / day

So, there’s no a problem of too visitors.

In few words, i’ll tell you how the situation precipitates constantly check the RAM on my Debian Lenny server.

I launch HTOP and see that the ram it’s busy from apache’s processes of 98%.

I’ll give an /etc/init.d/apache restart and the system returns free.
(this when i stopped WORDPRESS – on this server i’ve also other sites -)

my server, so, works perfectly. The other sites works OK, and the system have about 1gb of ram FREE, of a total of 1,5gb

    Perfect. Now, i’ll re-activate wordpress:

wordpress…slowly slowly, take ALL ram….seems to be that there’are many many process not killed….so my ram will be totally busy !
