WordPress keeps timing out on Windows Server

Hello,

I am on a windows server. I am new to WordPress – just got it installed on my server.

It was all setup and working well, and I was about to look into redesigning the theme – but then I noticed I keep getting issues where the blog won’t load in my browser, the admin control panel won’t load, etc.

Each time I go to domain.com/blog to view my blog, only about 25% of the time will it load properly. Other times I will wait and wait, and it eventually times out and gives me a ‘page not found’.

Is this because I’m on a windows server? I hear WP doesn’t work very well with Windows.
