• I publish a post without pictures, add pictures a few days later – everything looks ok but the next day, the post reverts to it’s older version – the pics are gone.

    The random text that I added back in the day and deleted later, come back. It all looks ok when I update it, but the next day I see it’s reverted to the previous version.

    Same happens with the meta data I set and other things. The first instinct was to blame the cache, but I purged it all, tried different browsers, and even deactivated the plugin. The problem persits.

    I’ve never faced anything like this with wordpress.

    Thanks Raymond. We repaired and optimized the DB as suggested but now, the images from another post have vanished. Also, some changes we made to the header back in February have reverted back.

    We recently switched to Rank Math and Lite speed cache – and just use very few other basic plugins.

    It’s one step forward one back at this point. Any idea?
