WordPress is rotating my photos

  • Hello, I just added some new photo’s to a site I help out with. https://abbysimon.com/?page_id=7

    They are the bottom five. On the computer, they are all rotated correctly, but for some reason, when I uploaded them, the all turned. One of them is completely upside down. Does anyone know what is going on?

    It had to be during the uploading process, because the actual photos are screwed up on the site. I tried to re-upload them and as soon as they are uploaded they show up all mess up.

  • It looks like the landscape pics have been turned to fit in a portrait gallery? It doesn’t explain the upside down one though…

    The thing is that the actual picture on the site is rotated wrong. It is as if the uploader rotated the pictures while it was uploading or something. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I’m using the flash uploader… maybe I’ll try the browser uploader.

    same thing with the browser uploader. Maybe it is some data in the actual file. But it opens correctly in every program I have on my computer… it isn’t until it is uploaded that it becomes an issue.

    is this topic in the right forum?

    I am seeing this too in 2.7.1. How do I fix this? It’s really irritating.

    Has anyone solved this? The upright photos all get turned on their sides!
