WordPress is removing my formating

I am not using the visual rich text editor and everytime I add a
tag it removes it when it publishes the page. Also it will add tags around <img> and <object> tags and I don’t want this.

Is there a plugin or something that I can use so that WordPress doesn’t mess with my formatting?
