WordPress is not sending comments notifications to my email

is the address in Settings, General correct?

it’s probably a setting, you just haven’t found it yet.

Did you recently upgrade to 3.1?

Install/activate any new plugins or deactivate any plugins that you had running?

JarretC: Yes, I did upgrade to 3.1. Is that what’s affecting it? I haven’t installed/activate/deactivate any plugins recently.

I haven’t heard of any issues with 3.1 not causing emails to be sent out.

Does the inbox the mail is being sent to have enough room to receive more messages?

same problem and it’s driving me nuts – i have at least a dozen WP blogs and I think I know how to get email notification when someone makes a comment, but not this time… any clue out there???

Not sure what the issue is but I think I may be experiencing this also. I think it might be related to a change where the post author is getting an email instead of the site admin. Does that apply to you guys as well?

I have absolutely no clue here, and after more than a week still no light at the end of the tunnel….

And if I ask my theme support, they’ll tell you to look in the wp forums etc. At least someone shoudl be able to give me a clue as to where to start looking. Ooh well. ??

i had the same problem and reported it as a bug

But they say it’s no bug, it’s a feature. So I am working on a plugin that fixes this problem. I think I’ll manage to publish it this evening

It usually takes a few hours for things to update, be patient.

Also, that links sends you to a 404 page and then redirects you to some other site.

The plugin is very very simple, it only overrites wp_notify_postauthor(). But it works!
