  • More information is needed. Installed on your personal server in your home intranet? Installed on your laptop for development purposes? Installed on a remote server provided by a hosting service? If so, your blog address, and does your description indicate that this is exclusively an IE problem, or that you can’t connect with any browser? If the latter, or in any case, what might the error message actually be?

    Address is not valid:
    ?Internet connectivity has been lost.
    ?The website is temporarily unavailable.
?The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
?The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website’s domain.
?There might be a typing error in the address.
?If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

    Installed and hosted by hostgator.

Open up a command prompt and type the following in ipconfig /flushdns.

After that’s done, try your site again. There could be 2 other common issues. If you just got your domain name, like within the last 24 hours you may need to wait a little while longer hostgator to update the nameservers. You may have also entered your nameserver info incorrectly.
