WordPress is creating thousands of cache files in the /tmp folder on the server

    My hosting abuse dep sent me email:

    WordPress within this account is creating thousands of cache files in the /tmp folder on the server which is causing this folder to fill up quickly, which can cause issues with MySQL, and other users applications.

    Any idea how to fix this ?
