WordPress integration with other platforms

Apart from the question whether it is possible or not, it would be interesting to know what it is exactly you’re trying to accomplish? Why would you want to combine different CMSs together?

Jumping on sgundew’s thread, I am looking to integrate Drupal and WordPress as well. I have an app built on Drupal and a site built on WordPress. I’d love an easy way to update one and have it reflected on the other. Let me know if you can think of an easy way to do this.

@piet Bos would want to display content from various platforms on the WordPress site as search results and provide links to respective sites as well

I think it is possible to include an RSS feed of another CMS on the WP site, but doing something dynamic like a search I highly doubt.

@piet Bos it is not possible in any way to fetch information from one site to other using search?

I said I highly doubt whether it can be done. Maybe someone else knows, I don’t.
