WordPress installed in subfolder – getting 404 error! Please help!!!!!

Hi. I have an account with hostgator, and I have a main domain name, and then I have 2 addon domains which are in the main domain’s directory but in a subfolder if I understand it correctly.

I have a plugin called virtual theme which makes virtual paths so you can test out different themes.

But every time I go to the virtual path, it says page not found. It works great on the actual main domain name where wordpress is installed also.

I’ve tried everything. How do I get this to work?
