WordPress installed in subdirectory, using 301 redirect at root to wordpress NG
-
Hi
I have WordPress installed in a subdirectory. I do not have a landing page at my root url, instead I’m using a 301 redirect to send all traffic that comes to my root url to my wordpress in the sub-directory. That’s not making Google happy. How can I send traffic that comes to my root url to my wordpress without using the 301 redirect and without having to move the wordpress from the sub directory to the root directory?
My thought was that in general setting i could set the blog address to the root url but I didn’t want to just try that for concern I would loose access to my wordpress if that was not the right thing to do.
Anyone?
Thanks
