WordPress installed but cannot view blog site

    I have just installed wordpress successfully and have now logged into my admin area. I am wanting to use the default theme, however when I select that then click view site, all that appears is my home page (index.html) of my actual site (with images missing) even though the path is https://www.mydomain.com/blog.

    I have tried changing to another theme, but nothing happens. It states it has installed is successfully, however when I click view site, I still see my same home page, not the blog home page.

    I use frontpage to edit my web pages but not sure if that has anything to do with it??
