WordPress installation (text only)

    followed this link for install:

    However when launching the browser to start the install I can only see text starting with:

    ME /** * The base configuration for WordPress * * The wp-config.php creation script uses this file during the * installation. You don’t have to use the web site, you can * copy this file to “wp-config.php” and fill in the values. * * etc…

    uploading a phpinfo() file to the same directory where WordPress files are works fine so not sure why WordPress install is not being handled correctly by php.

    Any ideas pls ?
