WordPress insert shows deleted files

    I need to delete 200 files, i went through the FTP and deleted them manually but they keep showing up when i click on “Insert into post”

    Where are those files? I deleted them from the /uploads/ folder.

    are they also showing in media library?

    I went into the media library and deleted them from there, now the site is using 500MB of ram and all the CPU, it has been going on like this for several minutes.. anyway i think that might have solved the issue i posted.
