    Hi,
    I get the error:
“Sorry, there has been an error.
The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\HostingSpaces\u4550177\r32pilot.com\wwwroot\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/05.”

I tried to change the user permissions on the folder through core ftp, but then i get the error: “ITE CHMOD 666 index.php
500 ‘SITE CHMOD 666 index.php’: command not understood”

Can someone please help me with this?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Try changing the FTP client you are using, just in case. Maybe you can use FileZilla.

Alternatively contact the Hosting Provider and ask them to change permissions. It is not the first time Hosting Providers do not allow users to change permissions.

Are you trying to make changes at your local host or on your live site?

I tried filezilla as well, but I got the same error message.
I have also emailed the hosting provider and will probably hear from them in the morning.

I am trying to make changes on the live site, through the ftp program.
