wordpress importer posts created without content

  • Hi there!

    I’m building a site with existing content with a new skin.

    Used the WordPress Importer to recover some of the contents I wish to save on my dev environment.

    Importer created the posts but failed to create the corresponding contents in those posts.

    What’s the best way to fix this?

  • This is most likely caused by your existing content being stored in a non-traditional way.

    Does your existing site store content in the post_content field of wp_posts, or somewhere else?
