WordPress importer not importing comments

    Hi there,

    I have two xml files that I exported from a blog in 2016. I have imported those files to my current site using the WordPress importer. The posts import without issue, but none of the comments import. I can see the comments in the xml file.

    Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to fix this?

  • I do not believe that the importer imports comments. You may need to use a plugin.

    It does import comments usually. It states this in the xml file. I have other files I have imported with comments intact ??
