images/text smaller in wordpress than my template..

Ok I’m having a strange problem that is driving me nuts. Ive been converting a html template to use in wordpress and the strangest thing is happening. Once i got it up and running in wordpress I noticed that the whole page seemed smaller, images, text…everything is about 15% smaller. And to make things even crazier is that it looks fine in IE!!
