Recently, I uploaded WordPress and launched a website. However I am unable to match my Home page to my DNS name. So instead of https://www.mylife.com I have https://www.mylife.com/home. When I go to the website the main page error reads,

“Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”

How do I set my homepage to the DNS name? Thanks!

  • Normally if you have installed wordpress in root then your domain name should point to your wordpress.

Can you check if you have home directory inside your root and wordpress in home directory if not then check with your host why your domain name is not pointing to root.

If you have wordpress in home directory then you will have move them to root

    or use from directory

My index.php file is loaded into the home directory. But my WordPress Home page is not the index.php file. How do I fix that?
