wordpress help – static main, posts on another page, how?

    hey all

    I’m trying to put the current posts(normally the main page) on another page like ‘latest posts’ and have the main page be static, how do I do that???

  • Check-out the Front Page options in Administration > Options > Reading.

    ya works for static front page, now how do I get the posts on another page????? that’s the hard part. Or am I missing something completely obvious????

    Yes, you are (missing it).
    Just below the frontpage setting there is another option to set a Page as your “posts page”.
    Note. You MUST have (at least) 2 Pages created in Write > Write Page section to be able to do this.
