WordPress gallery function doesn’t work anymore

  • Usually, when I upload pictures to a post, all the pictures wil be update in media library and WP will create a gallery for that post, but today, I can’t do that, the pictures are still in media library, but they don’t create a gallery so that I can add it to the post body
    any suggestion?

  • Did you recently add a lightbox feature or other plugin? Some lightbox plugins will disable the WordPress gallery.

    I don’t know what is lightbox feature and I don’t add new plug-ins recently, just update some old plugins like usual

    Maybe the updates to your old plugins caused the problem. You can try temporarily disabling your plugins to see if the gallery feature returns.
