WordPress forum

  • Does anyone have any recommendations for a WordPress forum plugin? I’ve found a few through Google but I’m wondering which ones work the best, are the most user friendly, etc. Anyone have any experience with any of them and have some suggestions?

  • I’ve tried a couple (unfortunately, I can’t remember the names), but was very unhappy with the resulting look (plugins’ CSS wasn’t exactly matching the theme CSS, and I had no time to iron out the kinks). So I ended up installing bbPress and integrating it with WordPress (which is a one-click deal).

    The obvious disadvantage of this approach, of course, is the fact that forum and main site will look differently, unless you get (or develop) matching themes for them.
