WordPress FORCING WP updates

  • The past 3 WordPress updates have been forced on my websites, I run 7 sites. No setting on the server is set to auto update and Godaddy swears it is not them but some plug in on my sites.

    Since all 7 sites have only a few plug in in common, wordpress and boldgrid, all have different themes, I doubt its a plug in.

    I need to absolutely stop wordpress from auto updating!!! As you all know most plug ins dont keep up with the latest WP version and can take a month to get up to speed and in the meantime it can cause sites to crash!

    When i use the option to roll back to the previous version it works, for about a day, then it auto updates itself again.

    All the HELP topics refer to a part of the dashboard that no longer exists on modern versions. There is no UPDATE OPTIONS anywhere I can find in the dashboard.

    How can I stop this?
