WordPress File Editor Broken with Plugin

There appears to be an issue with WordPress 4.9 and some optimization plugins halting file editing in WordPress.
Here is a link to an article where someone figured out it was a different plugin. Following his logic I also disabled TinyPNG and the file editor on my site worked just fine again.
