I am supporting multiple WordPress installations and recently Google Chrome will no longer parse the XML into a document tree. (I have also received some unqualified complaints about it “not working”.)

    Examples to view in Chrome:
These all display markup instead of a doc tree in Chrome and display nothing in Edge.

    https://blog.castac.org/feed/ (Mine)
    https://ak.vbroek.org/feed/ (Mine)
    https://americanethnologist.org/feed/ (Others with same issue.)
    https://savageminds.org/feed/ (Others with same issue.)

Example from non-WP feed that is working.
This one displays doc trees in Chrome as expected.

I have already tried disabling all plugins, etc. and trying other feed types (e.g. atom) However, the issue persists. Is this an issue that needs to be worried about?

    p.s.
I am also finding that MS Edge displays only a blank page for these. However, I have issues with MS Edge generally with feeds (not loading, crashing, etc.), so this may be unrelated.
