wordpress feed only updates once a year

Hi,

I discovered that my wordpress rss feed holds only 2 items from april 2009 and april 2010.

I tried changing the syndication settings, it was set to 6 and i changed it to 10 but it makes no difference.
But if i set it to 1, the feed only shows 1 item. So it does change something.

Please help me out here.
