    Hello

My blog post always return the following error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/binarys9/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 0

This will only affect myself as a blog owner as my readers will have no issue viewing my posts****

the directory noted in the error varies every time and it only happens in the post URL, instead of Pages. I have contacted my host’s support and he mentioned it is due to the latest WordPress 4.7 update. He also suggested that I try disabling my plugins to identify which one is causing the problem hence identified that Yoast SEO plugins is the cause of it.

Since it’s an important plugin, is there anything I can do to fix this?

  • I confirm the problem Yoast SEO / Wp 4.7. We tested the new 4.7 version on the demo site, disabled all plugins and re-activated one by one. Yoast SEO Plugin creates load times very very slow page.

    Hello,

Just an updated to this thread. After the latest Yoast plugin update 4.0.2. I was hoping that it would solve my issue. However it didn’t and hence I have decided to reinstall WP 4.7 manually via FTP.

The good news is it works and I no longer have the same issue plus the WP admin for my site which was running slow after the update has also improved tremendously. It seems that the manual wordpress 4.7 has already fixed everything and it’s back to normal now.

Hope this helps to everyone that is facing this problem too. Cheers!
