WordPress fails to upgrade due to Text/Diff.php

  • I asked this before in another query. I have not been able to upgrade WordPress automatically for some time due to the following message

    Fails to copy /html/wp-includes/Text/Diff.php

    No one answered my last query about my issue, so I am posting again. My host said they don’t have anyone complaining about this issue. I am using Thesis theme.

    I can’t even delete this file using FTP. So something is messed up. Can someone help me?

  • Your hosting provider need to reset the permissions on the html/wp-includes/Text/Diff.php file.
