    Howdy.

Testing out the plugin on a site for a client and have done 2 test installs on a sub-domain of my server.

On the first site, which was a clone of my client’s original site, as soon as I installed Draw Attention it worked perfectly, even with a lot of other plugins installed, including one called BNE Testimonials.

Now, on a second install with less plugins overall but still the main ones I need to use including Toolset and BNE Testimonials, Draw Attention seems to be having an issue – when I click Draw Attention menu item in WP Admin, it goes straight to the dreaded “your site is having a problem” screen. If I disable BNE Testimonials, I can get to the Draw Attention screen to start on an image.

Why would this work on one site and not another? WP version is 5.4 on both, php 7.3.16 and most recent versions of both plugins.

    I don’t get it ??

    Cheers,
    Phil.

Thanks for getting in touch, and sending details about the error. Are there any plugins active on the site having a problem (but not active on the working site)?

If so, can you try deactivating them temporarily to see if that fixes the issue? That would identify a conflict that we could look into and try to fix on our end.

Can you confirm the version number of Draw Attention that you have installed? It’s odd because the “get_current_screen()” function mentioned in the error shouldn’t be in that class-drawattention.php file at all.

You can also get in touch with our premium support – [email protected] – where we can discuss more site-specific details without posting publicly.

    Thanks,
    Nathan

    Howdy Nathan,

Forwarded you an email from the BNE Testimonials plugin developer with some suggestions – this is the plugin that DA is having a conflict with it seems ??

    Cheers.
