Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I have deactivated all plugins one by one but this does not resolve the issue… Can I send you access?

@setjo: I appreciate this this situation is very frustrating for you but please never offer login credentials on these forums. The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people but also a few very bad ones. Whilst I’m sure that everyone here is very nice, by giving someone the keys to your house, you are trusting they won’t steal anything.

If you do need that level of one-to-one support, then you really need to look for commercial WordPress support. In the meantime, switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

Also, if you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Site opens fine and also I am able to login wordpress dashboard successfully but this warning is visible on the top of WordPress dashboard.

To confirm, do you still see the error with *all* plugins deactivated *and* the Twenty Seventeen theme enabled?

If so, that means you inexplicably have a WordPress core file with a function that has been deprecated since WordPress 4.5, which of course is highly unlikely, but try downloading WordPress again, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings.

Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.
