WordPress Don’t need Gutenberg

  • For Bloggers WordPress is all about posting the content, which the classic editor is more then enough.
    For Developers It’s about custom Posts, Custom fields, Meta boxes, hooks, filters and the WordPress API and all these features make wordpress a very popular CMS.
    For Website owners it’s the just text they want to fill and Images they want to upload. Which WordPress is doing extremely good and that is the real power of WordPress. That’s why people love to use WordPress.
    At the first place Gutenberg is really complicated for clients and the interface is also dominating the custom fields which was not in the case with the classic editor. There are very good page builders are there and they are doing their job perfectly. Gutenberg is creating a perception of a website builder kind of thing like WIX. Which in future make the developers to search for alternatives.
    Guys “Please stop developing Gutenberg. It is complete crap”

  • Do you think you could see a website builder that seamlessly integrates editing and that still has a lot of the ease of use for writing content and adding images become something got that people will love about WordPress in the future?
