WordPress, Domain Mapping and Cookie Path

Hi – I have a question I’m hoping someone will have an idea about.

I’m trying to set up a blog using domain mapping. The plan is to run multiple sites off multiple domains (replacing my old Movable Type setup.)

I have the domain mapping working, however I’m seeing some oddness with my cookies.

What’s happening is that the cookie path is being set as /wordpress/ rather than just / for the mapped domain. I can’t for the life of me see why because /wordpress/ isn’t being used anywhere.

If I switch the settings to turn off domain mapping for the site, the cookie works as you’d expect, but not if domain mapping is on.

Does anyone have any idea how I can sort this out? Any suggestions very much appreciated. To be clear, in this case I’m using a different browser to test – this is for a logged out user.
